I grew up on the internet and have been fortunate throughout my career to make a living out my love for it.

First as an early professional blogger and now as a hybrid strategist and creative leader, with twelve years of experience, leading teams at agencies and brands to take advantage of opportunities enabled by social, digital, content and emerging tech.

I have a proven track record of re-inventing the way channels can be used to deliver business results that has helped brands win the hearts and minds of Australian consumers.

I have led the strategies and helped create commercially effective ideas for clients including Google Android, Coca-Cola, YouTube, Tourism New Zealand, Qantas, TAB, Twitter, Red Bull, Beats Music, ANZ Bank, Telstra and Royal Flying Doctor Service.

While always applying foundational marketing principles and brand theory, I believe in thinking fast and creating iteratively to help businesses connect with their audience through campaigns that are insight-driven and rooted in culture.

I also enjoy sharing my experience with others, which is why one of my career highlights was in 2019 when I was invited by Steve Coll (Head of Creative Shop at Facebook and ADMA board member) to create, lead and teach the inaugural Australian Creative & Effectiveness (AC&E) School.

Bookshelf Porn - I give bibliophiles photos of bookstores, bookcases and libraries. Despite the name, it is 100% safe to view at work.


Rocktober - For five years, I went to a gig every night of October.

TV Fugly Awards - For seven years, I produced a satirical awards voting platform for the worst shows on the telly.

Analog Sundays - A social movement where I encouraged people to disconnect from technology for one day per week.


Even though I perviously appeared regularly on radio (ABC 612 Brisbane) talking about social media and technology, I don’t count myself as a ‘speaker’. I just like sharing what I am passionate about and what I’ve learned in my work about marketing, creativity, trends and digital media behaviours.
